Alter Product is an all-in-one 3D product configurator, customizer, and viewer for online stores. It allows your customers to personalize products like T-shirts, mugs, hats, and packaging by adding text, images, QR codes, or patterns - with live photorealistic 3D previews and AR support.

A 3D product configurator is an interactive tool that lets customers change product options such as size, color, material, or print type, and see an instant 3D preview before purchasing. Alter Product offers both - a configurator and a customizer with advanced personalization options.

A configurator lets users choose from predefined product options like colors, materials, and sizes. A customizer adds creative freedom - allowing customers to upload their own images, add text, apply patterns, or insert QR codes directly on the product.

You can customize a wide variety of products, including apparel (T-shirts, hoodies, caps), accessories (bags, mugs, phone cases), packaging, promotional items, and more. New product templates can be added to match your business needs.

Yes. Customers can view your products in 3D and place them in their real environment using mobile AR - no additional app installation required.

Yes. Alter Product allows you to generate shareable links so customers can send designs to friends, colleagues, or clients before finalizing the order.

No. Alter Product is designed for both professionals and beginners, with an intuitive interface, built-in asset library, and ready-to-use product templates.

The plugin provides ready-made WordPress and WooCommerce functionality. The API lets you build a custom connection to another platform, a headless application or an existing order management system. Embedding Alter Product on your own website requires an active Business subscription or a higher plan that includes this feature. This applies to both the WordPress + WooCommerce plugin and custom API integrations. Personal FREE and Personal plans do not include embedding in your store. Run your store over HTTPS with a valid SSL/TLS certificate for its domain. This is required for embedded tools to work correctly on a public website.

In WooCommerce, you set product and variation prices; in the plugin, you add optional surcharges for individual print areas. The cart takes used areas into account based on the customer's saved design. For pricing directly in Alter Product, use Designer's price tables for model, size, material, printing method, color and personalization areas.

In Export settings, choose the File type: PNG, SVG or PDF. DPI quality has four values: 72, 150, 200 and 300. The file dimensions come from the area's physical size and the DPI setting, not the size of the product preview on screen. File downloads are available to the design owner and an authorized administrator of the embedded WordPress editor. Your plan must include access to the download feature. The public customer Customizer does not provide Printing manager.

You can add PNG, JPG, WebP and SVG graphics to a design. Print files are downloaded as PNG, SVG or PDF, depending on export settings and the features available in your plan.

Yes. Alter Product provides a flexible API for integrating with any CMS, e-commerce platform, or custom-built application.

Alter Product is a WordPress plugin. Store integration requires WooCommerce to be installed and active. Complete a typical setup in the admin panel without building your own API and cart handling. Have a custom store, headless application or your own order management system? Build an integration layer using the Alter Product Public API and embed the tools you need on your website. This approach requires development work.

If you have not used a trial before, you can test your chosen paid plan free for 14 days. You get all its features, with the same limits as a paid subscription. You test exactly the capabilities you will receive after the trial ends. Choose an option that matches what you want to test, and check the trial and subsequent billing terms before activating it. To test embedding in your store, you need a plan that includes this feature. AI usage on your own account and orders with a POD provider are billed separately during the trial as well.

Your subscription covers the features and limits of your selected plan. If you use AI with BYOK, the provider bills generation to your own account, with no additional AI credit fees from Alter Product. Budget separately for any external services you use, such as hosting, a domain, POD production and shipping, as well as any individually quoted services.

Yes. You can cancel anytime. Your subscription remains active until the end of the billing cycle.

We accept secure payments via credit/debit card using Stripe. VAT invoices are generated automatically after each payment.
